Riverwood Student Wins State Chemistry Essay Award

Riverwood International Charter School congratulates junior Mallory Hope for winning First Place in the Herty 75 Future Medalist Essay Competition given by the Georgia Section of the American Chemical Society, for her essay titled “Chemistry for Life in the Southeast.”

Mallory, daughter of Patricia and Melville Hope of Sandy Springs, is a International Baccalaureate (IB) chemistry student taught by Lakshmi Anumukonda.  She received a certificate and $100 check with her award.
