Back Row L to R: Steve Rakitt (President, Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta), Carol Cooper (Chair of the Board, Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta) , Felicia Weber (Naming Benefactor, The Weber School), Joe Weber (Naming Benefactor, The Weber School).
The greatly anticipated agreement between The Epstein School, a US Department of Education School of Innovation and The Weber School, named one of the "Best Private High Schools In Atlanta" by Atlanta Magazine in 2008, will establish cooperation that provides graduating Epstein students with preferential admission status, a seamless transition and continuous Jewish Day School education for ages 2 years old through 12th Grade.
The faculty and staff of The Epstein School and Weber School will work closely together to align the academic and enrichment curricula to ensure the goal of seamless transition is met for Epstein students who select Weber as their high school of choice.
Both schools are also conveniently located very closely to each other in Sandy Springs, Georgia and therefore will be a great convenience for parents and siblings.
Head of School Stan Beiner stated, "We have always enjoyed a close relationship with The Weber School. However, this new agreement allows for a more seamless transition from one quality Jewish day school to another. This is a win for our students, parents, the community and Jewish Day School education in Atlanta."
Weber School’s Head of School Sim Pearl adds, “Epstein students make significant contributions to The Weber School each year—we are thrilled to partner with Epstein in this forward thinking endeavor and continue building on the excellent relationship we share.”
Earlier this year, The Alfred & Adele Davis Academy located in Atlanta, Georgia had also signed a similar agreement with Weber with great success.
