If you went to Mableton Elementary then you most likely will remember the greatest P.E. teacher who ever lived. Coach Allen was part magician and all heart. He wowed us with illusions of taking off his thumb and pulling quarters from our ears. He had a special name for each and every student and even when I went back as a high school student he greeted me as "Allidaughter Swimmingpool." I will never forget how special he made me feel. I hear he has retired now and I feel sorry for all the children who will never know the magic they missed. Thanks, Coach!
